I thought I should keep up with Maza and her brush with fame that hit the national stage. Alaskan Heidi Kurtz was recently on the show Deal or No Deal. It was quite a fun show complete with traditional Native Alaskan kuspuks and she even brought snow. She ended up not finishing out her game last night. Her second half will air Sunday. Word has it in D'ham that she's from a village around here and grew up in D'ham. Some of the crew that was with her cheering her were relatives of people that Dylan works with. I asked my students today who watched the show last night and they ALL raised their hands.
