Denali, finally

So we've had some 34 straight days of rain here in south central AK. For some reason when it's raining or cloudy our internet doesn't work! Seriously, couldn't it be the other way around. When it's nice I want to be OUT. When it's raining I want the internet. So today is the first sunnyish day in a long time. It did officially rain this morning though not to break the cycle. Anyway I've been wanting to post these pictures for quite a while. They are from the three nights we spent in Denali with my parents. We saw lots of wildlife including a wolf chasing a young caribou.
A sow and two cubs.
A ground squirrel
Grandma and Grandpa Friedrich took a day to hang out with their grandson and D and I got to explore. We choose to get off the bus in a drainage and hike up. We started out in some low tundra and then ended up crossing very cold glacial rivers.

Denali!
Grandma and Jackson are making ice cream with the ball. Jackson's new favorite word is ball.
