Rainy Weekend

We are enjoying/enduring a rainy weekend here. We've gotten 2 inches so far and it is now raining again. For our morning snack we Pinterested it up! We "painted" on bread and then toasted it. The "paint" was milk with a drop of food coloring in it. They enjoyed doing and then eating the project. There was a bit leftover and when Dylan came in from outside he thought it was moldy bread. Maybe not so appealing after all. (The pictures aren't in chronological order for some reason. I have no doubt you'll figure it out though.)

On Saturday I spent the WHOLE day scrapbooking with a few other women. For years I have been reluctant to scrapbook. I think it was just overwhelming with how much stuff people would acquire and how long the process took. Additionally, I was also taken with my cool I use a computer to make photo books attitude. Anyway, here are the results. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. I also figured out that looking at scrapbooks of your own kids are even more fun.
I'm making a birthday scrapbook for each kiddo. I have both kids' first birthdays done. So I have a few left to go.
Why not throw a moose picture in there as well.

There were four women in all who scrapbooked on Saturday. I didn't think to take a picture until the very end. I think this has been one of the best ways we've used our big garage so far. I look forward to more Saturdays like this. Tonight, our friend Dan, will hang the moose he just killed in our garage. What a versatile space!
