Christmas Morning

This Christmas was definitely special in that we weren't traveling and it was the first time J was really jazzed about Santa.  I think the next several Christmases will be this exciting.  It almost makes me want to stay home every Christmas...well, almost!  It was so fun to see the magic of Christmas in their excitement.  

It was finally get up time and J hurriedly led Gma down the stairs to see if Santa had been at our house.

The shark slippers were exciting initially, but then we practically had to beg him to put them on.  M also wasn't thrilled with them.  Who could have known?  Maybe they'll have their day in the sun eventually.

This kitty was probably the biggest hit for J.  He'd really like a cat, but he knows his mom is allergic so he can't get one.  This cat was close enough.  For now at least!

M was still excited about the presents from yesterday. 

They both got yoga mats and a yoga DVD from Santa.  They do yoga at preschool and I thought they might get into doing it at home.  J enjoyed doing it this afternoon and M liked rolling around.  They also kind of double as a nice way to define their own space as shown here.

M was mad for some reason.  This is her grumpy face!
