Licking the beaters from the icing. It's kind of funny because we didn't use beaters to make the icing, but we wanted them to chill out a bit. Instead of just giving them a taste, I took the clean beaters and dipped them in the icing so they had to work at it.
Rainbow cake
Pre-party
Here we go! M was not very excited about opening presents. She seemed very overwhelmed by all the people, but she slowly warmed up.
She got some dolls, a stroller, a booster seat, Legos, books, a vet clinic, and some clothes.
J was equally excited about all the new toys.
The party favor was a fill your own bottle of rainbow Skittles.
The older kids really had the layer concept down. (check out the next pic)
The rainbow cake frosted and decorated.
When we started singing the birthday song she got off her seat and tried to run away. She came back with her dad.
Eating rainbow food and cake! Yum!
My mom made M's chevron rainbow dress. Thanks, mom!
Gma Becky ending a great day with a new story. Now it's time to start thinking about J's in May!
