Misunderblogging...

Thanks all for your emails and comments of sympathy. First off, I'd like to clear up a few misunderstandings. Fritz's life came to an end Monday not Tua's. I reread what I wrote and I can totally see how it sounded like Tua was the one to go. But Tua is in fact doing well and he is on anitbiotics that I got last night from the vet liasion. That's kind of a funny story actually. I called up our vet in Chugiak (a place just outside Anchorage) and told him Tua's symptoms and he decided to treat it with medication. He put me in contact with his person in Dillingham. She called me to tell me she had the stuff and we arranged a time to meet. In front of the vet building is where the exchange went down. What seemed so funny was that I didn't even have to get out of my car. She brought the stuff right to me. Talk about a little shady way to get some drugs for the dog. More cheerful posts to come!
