Extra Super Tuesday!

Dylan and I went to the middle school gym last night to caucus. There was a huge turnout. More chairs had to be drug out and many people were standing. It was a little interesting to be in a situation where you'd know where everyone you knew in the community stood when we all fanned out. While hanging out in the Obama camp, a guy was asking for volunteers to be delegates and alternate delegates. Only in rural Alaska would I have that kind of easy opportunity. He kind of had a hard time finding volunteers because the commute to Anchorage is a spendy one! Trip to Anchorage = $450....being a delegate = priceless (maybe not).

Little D'ham made the statewide news this morning. They reported that the democratic caucus usually has a turn out of 4 people and last night there were 98. Just down the road at the republican caucus a reported 5 people turned out for the event.

On another note, I'm watching the weather on the news right now and the weather guy just said windy windy for D'ham. I guess it's probably inside recess again today...
