Dylan and I had a very relaxing evening last night. I've been trying my hand at origami because I've been wanting to make a crane mobile for a friend who just had a baby. Anyway, I spent about an hour last night pouring over illustrations both in Japanese and English, YouTube videos, and diagrams that came with my origami paper and low and behold, I finally folded tricky step nine! I was so excited. For me it's a good reminder of how my students may sometimes feel in class when something's hard and the utter frustration of just not being able to do something. Dylan helped me with the balancing and tying of knots when it actually came to hanging the little creations. Tua did his usual thing. Ah, Sundays...
