1 out of 400 are the odds that a pregnant woman will have an ectopic pregnancy in the tubes. I'm fairly certain most everyone who reads this blog has already heard, but two weeks ago I was medevaced from D'ham to the big city for emergency surgery, which also included two rides in ambulances.
This is a picture of my ruptured fallopian tube. (I hope people aren't grossed out that I'm posting this...I think it's so amazing that technology allows us to see our insides.) I lost a pint and a half of blood. You can see some of the blood in the lower half of the picture mixed in with the yellow stuff that allows the intestine and colon to move.
I'm now on the mend and things are getting back to normal. D and I have been in teacher meetings all last week and we start school again in a week.

I'm ever so glad to have you back blogging. And no it's not gross, it's informative! None of your lady friends will forget that this can happen and we're now able to tell other people about it should similar symptoms arise! Love you,
Anna
