I've recently been introduced to the world of Pinterest. I've been ruined. If you know what Pinterest is, you know what I'm talking about. It's a place where you can exchange ideas on practically anything. I've been immersed in the world of 2nd grade and toddler activities. My post where J was threading Cheerios on a raw noodles was an idea I found there. Anyway, I'm sure there's more to come in the world of fun ideas for toddlers.
J has been a bit sick this week. Again (sigh). He's had a fever and a horrible cold. Yesterday his ear started draining. We went to the doctor and she thought it was just a virus and his tubes were allowing his ear to drain. Today it's been draining blood. Sounds horrible, right? By coincidence today the ENT called because they had a cancellation and they're getting him in tomorrow. He was supposed to have his yearly check up in January after having his tubes put in last year. I'm glad they'll get to see his ear in his current state. When does that ever happen?

On Curious George today (J's favorite show) they made ice cream. I remembered we had my ice cream maker from when I was a kid. It was one that my parents got me at the Dayton's Christmas display when I was probably 6 or 7. Luckily the insulated part was in the freezer, so there was no waiting for ice cream.
He said it was yummy! He had about four bites and said he'd had enough. He's not too into sweets.
