We have to admit we have had quite the run with both our kids sleeping in cribs. Just before M was born we had debated whether or not to move J to a toddler bed and have M in the crib. We decided that why possibly screw up a good thing, so we made the decision to buy another crib. We've had over a year now with both of them happily contained. The past couple days J has said he wanted to sleep on Grandma's bed (D's parents were here this past week and we hauled the guest bed to the floor in J's room). He also said it was M's crib. We knew our time was coming to an end. So today, rather unplanned, we moved all the toys to M's room, propped up the guest bed in the corner, and made J's room as sparse as we could. So tonight we tucked him in and crossed our fingers. While downstairs playing cards we heard the patter of little feet and went up to tell him it was time to be in bed. Then we went downstairs and crossed our fingers again. We have not heard a peep out of him since. I guess there's not much he can get into other than a book. Hopefully we can say he's now transitioned!
M's new digs. All those toys just out of reach. Awe shoot!
