Getting into the routine

We're finishing up our second week of the new school year.  The kids are starting (hesitantly said) to get used to going back to preschool.  M still clings for dear life as I'm trying to leave and J grabs my leg and sits on my foot.  They seem super happy though when I pick them up (not just that I'm there, but that they've had a lot of fun during the day)cx.  They've been getting lots of outside time in the afternoons on the playground, which is probably their favorite.  I think J spends most of his day with two girls who are 4.  When I left on Tuesday he was already in the kitchen and they were telling him he was going to be the daddy.

Saturday morning came too early, so we popped popcorn and watched a Curious George movie.
Sharing popcorn
Belly buttons are still all the rage in our house.
How exciting is this????  M has a UTI.  They needed a urine sample and sent us home with an in the bowl urine catcher.  Only a few seconds after I had it all set up and M on the toilet she peed.  Then she sat there and tried to poop.  I heard several toots.  Then a few hours later she ran to the bathroom and signaled she wanted to go.  Again right after I put her on she peed!!!  Our one year old just might beat our three year old to the title of "potty trained!"  We went to the store today and bought her some pull ups.
M's new drive for the toilet spurred on a little healthy competition in our house.  J was not about to be outdone.

It is so fun to look at those growing kids. :) We had workshop this week and next week we all have to get in the routine of school. Ahh- summer went so fast.
