We've had non-stop fun of grandmas and grandpas this last month. J was so sad tonight when G & G left. He's going to go through some serious G & G withdraw. Here are the pics from the last two weeks.
J and M enjoyed the kid room at the Toyota dealership while we went through the paperwork of buying our new van. What's not to love when you've got suckers, Kindles and grandparents!
We rode on the tram at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood.
Gma made both kiddos Superman capes. As you may remember in a past post that J was so happy to be wearing his buddy's cape. So Gma turned on the sewing machine and whipped these beauties out. They were both thrilled!
We camped south of Anchorage and ventured through the tunnel to Whittier. It just seems like when there's a 2.5 mile tunnel, everyone should have a chance to go through it. We also did this with D's parents.
Happy birthday, Gma!
M is a do it herself kind of gal. While being carefully watched, she spread her own peanut butter on a tortilla.
J is becoming an expert at putting on puppet shows.
The bugs are HORRIBLE this year! Good thing J doesn't mind wearing a bug net. He was playing with a fishing net today and decided to put it over his head and it could become a bug net.
Bugs don't phase her, evidently.
Who lets a bug net get in the way of blowing bubbles!?!
Sharing a little Angry Bird time on G and G's Kindles.
Gma made birthday chair covers for my class for when students have birthdays. I'm trying to think of easy things that make a big difference to kids to do this year with my class. What are some things that you remember being special from elementary school? Feel free to leave a comment :)
