Christmas in May

We came home today to the UPS truck in our driveway.  Just as the brown truck was pulling out, Fex Ex pulled in.  Evidently we've been doing a bit of shopping lately.  D was super excited with his deal on a new vac sealer that's half the size of the old one and hopefully a lot better in operation.  When we're packaging meat and fish the old vac sealer has to take breaks to cool down and just doesn't work as well as it should.   

The kids really scored today.  I order a bunch of new books primarily for J, however, M is very determined to learn to read as she sees her big brother doing it.  Also I hit a big sale at JC Penny and J got a slew of t-shirts and M got 3 dresses and a several new long sleeve shirts that will probably fit her when she goes to kindergarten...a year and a half down the road.  You can't pass up shirts for $3. 

We're all set for tomorrow.  The kids and I were just talking about how M had a field trip last week.  I have one tomorrow and J has one next week.
