1. M had gymnastics and has gym day coming up, which means she'll likely earn a medal or trophy. We're new to this so we'll just have to wait and see.
2. I got to have a wonderful lunch with a friend who teaches second grade at another school in our district.
3. We spent the afternoon at the beach Saturday. See the photos in yesterday's post. It's so fun to watch the kids explore and push their comfort boundaries. They slept well last night.
4. After the beach and the kids were asleep, we had another couple over to play Settlers. They remind us a lot of ourselves 10 years ago. They are also 10 years younger than us. I guess we're not in our mid 20s anymore.
5. I spent 4 hours at school this morning and feel ready for the last 13 days of school. I have all my report card comments complete and my ducks in a row.
6. I came home to D having done a lot of the house work. Don't get me wrong, there's still a ton left to do, but he made a dent for sure.
7. We thatched the yard.
8. D mowed the yard with his new mower. (See pictures)
9. The kids watched a movie while I folded clothes.
10. I have a new art interest. I'm going to try my hand at paper cutting. Hopefully in the next weeks there will be pictures of some projects I've tried.
