Happy Halloween!

We had some crazy fun here this past weekend that started Friday afternoon. Check out the pictures below.

First we went to our friends' house for their annual Halloween party.  They throw the best parties.  The kids are waiting here for their chance to throw darts and win prizes.
J played Halloween themed Twister.
All the party attendees.  J isn't in this picture because he was invited to another party that overlapped.
D held the pinata.
M isn't too crazy about pictures right now.  I had to bribe her with chocolate for this one.
That's a big Hulk hand.
J got back late from the other party he went to with his huge bag of candy!
Then it snowed the night before Halloween!  Yippee!
We didn't have great snow at all last year, so we were very excited to get all bundled up and out in it.

Grocery shopping with two kids is quite an adventure.  J is being smothered by all the groceries.

The Wildlife Refuge had a great kids' event for Halloween.  We learned all about owls, bats, and spiders.
Then we checked out their new interpretative center.

Then it was off to the Cupcake shop to go trick or treating for a cupcake.  This was my favorite stop because I refueled with caffeine.

Our last stop with trick or treating at our Rec center.  We also hit up a couple of houses of our friends, but we skipped the neighborhood door to door this year.  J was kind of disappointed because he was really excited about that part.  Next year we'll give that a try again.
