I also included a picture of our HUGE snow bank in front of our house. We have a lot of snow. This past week we had a crazy snow storm with winds like we've never experienced her before. We actually had to keep kids at school an hour longer than usual because the roads were so poor they weren't letting the buses run.
Once we got home we went to our neighbors to hang out for the evening outfitted in snowmachine goggles and complete snow gear just to go two driveways down. We were convinced that school would be 2 hours late for sure. We waited around our house anticipating a phone call announcing the late start but nothing. We were totally trapped in our driveway and on our road to the main road. We called the superintendent to tell her we'd be late getting there. She said she'd come get us. It turns out that this wind/snow storm blew just right leaving huge drifts on our road but it was pretty clear everywhere else. We had to hoof it out to the main road to hitch a ride with her. Small town, huh?
Today was a double post. Scroll down for the news on our moving sale.
