Camping

Here we are with the Knutsen's toy hauler on the Spit.  No, they don't have a horse.
 A mini D'ham reunion!
Camping on the Spit was a bit chilly!  Nothing like packing winter clothes in the summer.  I'm sure all you Minnesotans reading this can hardly imagine after the heat you've been having lately.

We were planning on spending only a night in Homer with our friends, but ended up spontaneously going to Seward.  (It sure is nice to have a flexible schedule!)  In Homer we met some Belgium cyclists with their 18 month old son and they were not excited to bike the somewhat unfriendly road they had just come in on.  We hauled their bikes in the camper and brought them to Seward.  The drive was definitely a memorable one.  First off there we were packed to the gills, even with Tua riding in the camper.  Then Morgan decided to throw up only 5 minutes outside of Homer.  We were almost to Seward when Jackson threw up after laughing so hard at my sock puppet show.  What can I say, I'm a hoot!  Our Belgium friends definitely had an interesting ride.

Our early riser checking on our Belgium friends.  Notice the helmet because he is now the operator of a tricycle.

 Morgan's thoughts on camping...
We went to the Sea Life Center for a quick visit.
Cormorant and Sea Gull
D made dinner for our new friends.

My kiddos are dressed in their Vegas shirts today.  In the next couple of days I'll be posting pictures from our Vegas trip.   J points to his shirt and exclaims in a loud voice "Las Vegas!"

I love reading your posts. You do such fun things along with having two absolutely adorable kids! Funny to think you were cold as we have been melting here!!
