Viva Las Vegas!

Last week I attended the National Conference on Differentiated Instruction at the Venetian in Las Vegas.  When my principal asked me to go, I thought there would be no way at this point that I could swing it.  I told her I wouldn't be able to go.  I was later talking to my mom and told her about it.  About 15 minutes after talking to her, she called me back up offering to go and care for M while I was in my sessions.  So here's our trip to America's Playground.  At some point I'll have to go there again for the more traditional Vegas experience.  We did venture on The Strip a bit, but it's not the easiest navigating a stroller while looking around.  Thanks Mom for making it possible!  It was fun!

Our room at the Venetian.

Not too shabby!
A step-down living room

Gma and M!
Dinner at Buchon with my principal, work colleagues, and mom.  I had mussels for the first time.

Eating gelato by the canal.
Feet were very exciting this trip.

The Palazzo waterfall.  It was pretty exciting watching the Wheel last night because they are in Vegas at the Palazzo this week.  Ah memories...

Hanging out one morning before my conference sessions started.
More feet and flingy hair.

Let's go back inside it's flipping hot out here.
