Absent Blogger

We've had an eventful day.  Both M and J had fairly high temps this morning.  J's peaked today at 103.8.  Of course the clinic we go to is very short staffed right now and didn't have any open slots to see them today.  We ended up going to the ER to have him checked out.  After checking him out, the doc thought it was likely a virus.  He suggested IBU and Tylenol to keep his fever down.  We're hoping that tonight things turn around for him and he's on the mend.  M's fever has hovered around 101, which is definitely high.  She still has nursed today and pretty much gone about her daily activities despite it.  They're both asleep now and hopefully will have good nights.
I love M's face in this one.

Here she is laughing at J play with a collapsible storage bin.  She thought it was hilarious and really let out her great belly laugh.
D's mom was here for about 10 days in September.  It was great having her around and we miss her!  J frequently commented last week that Gma had to fly back to MN to see Gpa.
At a park
M enjoying a sunny day.
She was pretty excited about feeling the grass.
J seems to like playing the wood chips of parks more than the park itself.

A snack break for M.
I wonder how many other grubby toddlers have hugged this bear's leg?!?
Chopping it off!  He looks like a totally different boy now.  I still feel like I'm getting used to it.
M enjoys playing cards with daddy.
She's so darn cute!

Hope everyone is feeling better. I love the new haircut, but what a change- he looks like a big boy now.
