Carving

If you ask J he'll claim that he carved his pumpkin. However, the truth is that he didn't want to touch a thing. I tried to get him to put the seeds that I dug out into a container. He used the scoop that came with the carving kit to do that. He's not into touching gross things. We had a lot of fun though.
A surprised pumpkin!
You can't tell, but we do have the candle all set up and lit inside.
Yes, M does have a pair of socks contrary to many pictures where she just has one.  It seems to happen every day.
These pound puppies were mine when I was a kid.  I thought J would like them.  Turns out he "loves" them!  He brought all but one to bed with him tonight.  He also really enjoyed lining them all up.

I loved the pound puppies too! So cute that you or your folks still had them around.

I love the second photo, where M's expression matches the pumpkin :)

it'll be interesting to see if M is similarly repelled by gross things! (also, love the one-sock. that was a for about 4 months:)!)

What fun pictures- I love the socks and that Jackson took control of the costume or no costume plan. It's so amazing as parents to see what our kids will decide they should be stubborn about.
