Things are really starting to move full force with our garage/apartment. The excavator was dropped off late last week. I love it that J is learning words like excavator. It's really sweet when he says it.
Taking a nap with his baby. His daddy skills are quite good already. Everyone looks quite comfy.
She just keeps getting cuter. She's coming up to the 8 month mark here in a couple of days. So far she doesn't have any teeth and is very close to being an official crawler. She's even pulled herself up to standing a few times with a bit of assistance.
I'm in baby food mode this week. Carrots were first. Then we got a delicious Halloween/Fall box from Aunt Margie. Thanks Aunt Margie! She always sends a butternut squash in the fall. So now M has had her first taste of that. Today I'm on to yams and apples. For any baby food makers out there. I now suggest just getting a Magic Bullet for pureeing food. It's cheaper and easier to clean than a Cuisinart. The only drawback is that it doesn't do large batches.
The trench has been dug. It's so nice that they waited to do this during a snowstorm.
The trench allowed them to connect the water from our house to our new building.
They dug right up to the house.
The view from inside our house.
They worked late into the evening during the snowstorm finishing up and filling the trench back in. I wish J could have been awake for all the excitement. It was a little freaky sitting in the living room and having the bucket swing 15-20 feet away from us.

Alex thinks Morgan looks like Dylan...I think she's way cuter ;)
That is some serious construction!!
M is so cute! Love that hair too. My Opal is currently having a screaming fit every night at bedtime for the past two nights. It must especially suck for her brother, who has to share a bedroom with her. How are you handling being a mother of two? xoxo
