This week in photos

J was very excited to help feed the girls. My job-share partner's little girl was more than happy to let J feed her. M was not as willing. Every time J tried to feed M she would try to grab the spoon. I love how in the photos you can see J opening his mouth wide. I wonder if this is an unconscious move or he's seen me do it.

We were without power for about 24 hours starting Tuesday and we got it back sometime during the night last night.  School was even canceled since there wasn't power at either of our buildings.  During the 24 hours we had a couple half hour stretches where we got it back.  D's work insulating our house a couple summers ago has definitely paid off.  We stayed fairly warm.  Not as warm as I like it, but we had little heat loss.  Oh no it's flickering again!

Yesterday J didn't nap, so I thought he might (yeah right) on the cot all snuggled in his sleeping bag.  He enjoyed being snuggled but no nap.  We also found out that M really liked pulling herself up and playing on the elevated surface.
