MN Christmas

Our flight plans changed a bit a few months ago and we found ourselves heading to MN 4 days earlier than we had originally planned. This worked out well because we could then enjoy Christmas with BOTH families! Here are some pictures with my side of the fam.

Aunt M and M enjoying some green beans and peas with mint!
J was very into presents this year.  He is a very dainty unwrapper.
A train set!
My mom made this to display J's projects that he makes at preschool.  It hangs over the door.
M's embroidered baby blanket from Gma.
My mom was in project mode the past several months.  She made J a preschool nap mat that rolls up and has an attached blanket.  It even has his name embroidered on it.  He loves it!
Here are his "friends" taking a nap on it.
J and M got a wooden grandma and grandpa for their doll house set.  We thought the grandpa really resembled my dad.  Stick a blue sweater vest on my dad and they could be twins!
The annual reveal of the calendar of the kids for the relatives.
J with my grandma.

M got some snugly flannel sheets made by Gma.
My parents surprised us by inviting D's parents to dinner.  J shouted out "Two grandmas!"  You gotta love that kid!
