Feeding the fam!

Idaholy moly! Check out the size of this monster. Dylan was fishing on the Nush a few days ago and landed this crazy big king salmon. The whole ordeal took an hour and a half. A couple of factors went into the delay in getting the fish landed:

1) the fish was huge
2) Dylan was fishing with the company of a mammal that does not possess opposable thumbs. Normally if someone in the boat had this big of a fish on the line someone else would have pulled the anchor and floated downstream a bit. In this case, Dylan ended up not only fighting the fish, but he also had to fight the current.

After an hour and a half, our friend Lance came to Dylan's assistance and pulled his boat right up next to our anchored boat. Dylan jumped onto his boat and the humongous fish was in the boat in a matter of minutes. It's the biggest fish we've ever caught on the river weighing in at 42 lbs.
