Last week our vehicle went in for its 100,000 mile tune up/fluid check/look for other problems appointment. It turned out we'll be dumping $3000 into it. What can you do? On Thursday the kids and I brought it in for a half hour diagnostic appointment. I was all prepared with a baby backpack and we hiked to the bakery. That was fun. Then we went back to the car place and they gave us the bad news. The guy was even advising against me driving it home and that I should have a least some of the items taken care of that day. Really? Or is this guy taking me for a ride? I caved and ended up with a rental because deary me I didn't want to be stranded on the side of the road with two little kiddos. J loved the rental. It was a minivan complete with a DVD player. Kid heaven! He also digs sliding doors. From this experience I discovered we'll never have a DVD player in the car and that I love sliding doors and the roominess of a minivan. Someday, maybe! To sum it up, this picture here below is from the next day when we picked up our car and returned the van. We had about a bazillion stops and then I had to put the carseats back into our car for the rental. Needless to say I spun a little parenting magic. The kids were great and I caved and got them a happy meal. This was J's second and M's first. I felt a bit guilty. They were psyched though!
My friend just bought a steam mop. I borrowed it one night and was in
love! I had to have one myself. I also found myself wondering what
else I could steam. We checked out the ones on Amazon and discovered
they come with different attachments. The steam cleaner we ended up
with had a grout cleaner. Check out the good things that happened on
our kitchen counter. How did we ever live before?

I have a steam mop, but must say the grout cleaner is awesome. Might need to look into that. My shower cleaning could be that much faster. :)
Holy smokes.....that was a junk of change. Hopefully it runs forever now:) That steam mop is amazing....I agree with Laura, I would love to use that in my shower. I might have to ask for that for my birthday!
