Our original MLK weekend plans consisted of going to a refuge cabin, but with all our rain last weekend it was advised not to go with the overflow on the ice. It turned out that we had a lucky break there since J started throwing up Friday night. That would have been a lot of fun in a cabin with eight people with no power or running water. He continued to not feel well Saturday, so today was the first day we really got out and did something. J skied for the first time on groomed trails. He scooted and was pulled by his dad by holding onto the Chariot while D skied.
Gma Cindy sent a well-timed care package. It came Saturday when J wasn't feeling all that well. He enjoyed the sticker books and especially the dry erase books.
J knows all his letters and lots of numbers. He's now started to write his name!
This is how you make dinner when someone desires to be held. Too bad she couldn't read me the directions to my quinoa burger recipe! You gotta love that she's reading!

I love M's off-the-shoulder look! Tell J I'm glad he's feeling better.
Cut haircut, H!
