At least here's my attempt to do a post a day in May as a much busier person than I was last year at this time. Today we're enjoying summer-like temperatures. We've been above average and very dry for this time of the year. J and M already have a little sun from playing outside at preschool. They're getting ready for their summer in the lower 48.
We had some excitement over the weekend when we were leaving the Fred Meyer parking lot. My newish Toyota Sienna was hit by someone backing up into us. I've never been in an accident, so it's been interesting this week dealing with all the phone calls and paperwork.
Our vehicle woes continued last night while D was bear hunting. He and a buddy where driving out when they drove over a down tree. Some hose pulled out and fluid went spraying places. D could tell you more of the specifics, but that's what I remember from his telling of it. He ended up leaving the Ranger and hoofing it out of the woods late last night. He'll have to go out again tomorrow to deal with it.
We're gearing up for J to turn 5 next week. This weekend we're having his birthday party. He chose a Magic School Bus birthday. The plan is to have some preschool friendly experiments for him and his friends.
Last weekend we went to a friend's birthday party and have lots of great videos and pictures from Jumpin' Junction. M is fearless on the inflatables. On a slow day I'll post some of those pictures and videos.
