D had to cover a soccer game, so we went along and enjoyed the warm temps. The kids were enamored with a snow pile--go figure! Bubbles flew and they played with the daughter of a family friend. Very little soccer was watched, but who can blame them. There's really not a whole lot going on to keep your attention and when something did happen, we were too busy not paying attention to notice.
Then we went to the park. M is very adventurous and J is becoming more so because of his dare devil sister.
Then we stopped for treats on the way home.
D went to a Safari Club International guns for the hunter dinner. Lots of guns were raffled and he won a gun for J (at some point). D was stoked. If I imagine my college self walking into this dinner I would be mortified. Even after living in AK for 11 years, I'm still mortified. It's quite the scene. Needless to say, I stayed home with the kids tonight.
