Saturday Fun

The kids and I had a busy Saturday. We hung around the house until around lunch time and then went to our favorite pizza place in Soldotna for lunch. We were pretty much out of groceries and making mac and cheese just didn't seem to cut it. Then I dropped the kids off at a track meet D was at. They hung out with him for a few hours and I went solo to buy paint for our house and groceries. I was so impressed with my quick trip to Sherwin-Williams. They were having their grand opening (40% off!) and making big decisions like paint color is not my strong suit. I knew I didn't have a lot of time, so I walked in, grabbed 5 paint swatches, and then got in line. The guy told me which one to get and filled in quickly all the other details that needed to be hammered out. Seriously I was out of there in 10 minutes and D is picking up the paint Thursday. We're going with a light gray color.  After that I picked up the kids and we played at the ladybug park and then headed home.  J's allergies were starting to bother him and the groceries were heating up in our 70 degree weather.

M is such a good eater.  She devoured 2 nectarines when we got home.

Here's our paint color.  I think it'll work well with our green roof and we'll also do white trim.  I'll have to post before and after shots.
