Town Clean Up

Once all the snow melts, all the trash from the year is uncovered. Nikiski does a pretty impressive town clean up effort. Someday we'll make it to the rally/gathering at the recreation center on Saturday for the t-shirts and prizes, but for now it always seems like we're busy on Saturday and end up cleaning up our area on Sunday. D and the kids went down our road and picked up two garbage bags full of trash. Not everything they found was trash. D found two morels in our ditch. I've never had one, so I'm excited for him to cook them up.
