The Bear

D and a coworker of his have set up and are sharing this bait station.  I kind of cringe as I write this because I imagine lots of Minnesotans shocked that I'm nonchalantly writing about this activity I formerly would have despised.  Anyway, I guess AK has made me more accepting of hunting.  They have a camera set up to automatically take pictures. This one was taken yesterday.  Needless to say, D is more excited than ever to get back out to have a shot at a black bear.  Just in case you're wondering, we would eat the meat.  Nothing about the bear would go to waste.  Just tonight D was picking out a wall to put the hide on.  Ah, the life of an Alaskan.
