Trip to the dentist

J had his second trip to the dentist and M had her first today.  M missed her morning nap, so while J was in the chair (or I should say on the daddy) I was holding a sleeping girl.  Talk about being able to multitask holding a sleeping kid and taking pictures.  J was excited about the bat sunglasses he got to wear.  Anyway, the report is that J's teeth look great!  I'll take that as a compliment since I'm the one who wrangles him morning and night for teeth brushing.  The dentist also questioned whether we had ever seen an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doc).  I told him J's history and asked him what made him ask.  He said that J was a mouth breather and his breathing seemed labored.  The ENT has been talking about taking J's tonsils out this summer.  It's kind of nice that the dentist seconded this prognosis.  We woke M up for her turn and she was not a happy patient.  He did get a good look in her mouth and confirmed that everything looked great with her, too.  We'll be back in six months!
