Fun Friday

Here's another idea I found on Pinterest.  First, spread some baking soda on a cookie sheet.  Then combine vinegar with food coloring.  We used the bright neon food coloring.  Last, watch the fizz erupt when the colored vinegar is added to the baking soda!  J also enjoyed mixing the colors at the end.

M is very interested in using a spoon.  Things that are kind of sticky have been good practice like cottage cheese. 

Another Pinterest find was this granola bar recipe we made this morning.  J helped by pushing it down into the bowl.  The fun came to a screeching halt when he pulled his hands out and shook them in the air to get the little pieces off.  We called in our cleaning help, Tua!

We thought today would be a good day for a picnic.  We went for a walk around the house first.  You can see it's not exactly warm picnic weather, but we'll take what we can get.

We had our picnic on the deck.  The sun came out for a minute and then it started to rain.  We finished up on the floor in the kitchen.
