Fun Friday

We hit the road this morning and went grocery shopping. We go out of our way to Fred Meyer so that J can play in the kiddie room while I shop (and they have the best produce). I'm hoping M will be convinced soon that it's the way to go.  How easy would it be to shop while they're playing?!  We stopped at a new to us park on the way home that happened to be a field trip stop for a bunch of first graders.  We played for five minutes before heading out.  There were just too many kids that were a bunch older.  Then we stopped at McDonald's thinking we could hit another park and then M fell asleep.  J thought it was a terrific idea to have a picnic on the deck.  Of course by that time M had finished her nap.

Don't worry about the happy meals.  This is a once in a blue moon occurrence.

Basically for M her cheese burger was just a vehicle delivering her ketchup/mustard combo to her mouth.  Did you know that if you ask them to leave the fries out that they'll give you extra apples.  Win/win!

Is that his leg that reaches all the way to the floor?  Seriously, when did this happen???

I love that her drawing has such purpose now.  She's clearly trying to create something.
