Trip to Homer

Today D was attending to the regions track meet, again, so we went to Homer. Friends of ours from D'ham live there. They had a "bring a friend" pass to an art class that she goes to every Saturday morning.  What a treat!  J had a blast and it was no problem leaving him.  What a relief.  We took the little people to the park for some swinging. 

She even tried the transitional swing.  What a daredevil!

What a super cool playground. 

The art studio where J made a mother's day poster.  I wish we had one of these in our area.  He seemed to really like it.  My friend described the art teacher as the Pied Piper of children.   

We went back to the park again after lunch.

J loves little kids.  This is Jimmy, the son of our friends who we visited.

Finally she fell asleep.  What a day!
