Mother's Day

We had a pretty typical Sunday of sorts with a few extra perks here and there. I feel like I have to start off by saying how I feel very lucky to have such a supportive partner who does a lot of tasks/duties that would be typically done mostly by the mother.  I had hoped to sleep in a bit today.  D was up ready to throw everything he had at M, but alas she won out by pounding on the bedroom door yelling for me to get up!  I can sleep when I'm old.  We hung out for a few hours and then jumped in the car and headed to get coffee.  D was a little surprised when the coffee shop lady just asked what size I wanted and proceeded to get my drink.  Busted!  She usually only works on weekdays.  I guess D now has a better sense of my coffee addiction.  :)  Then we got groceries (not so glam).  Next up was the park.  This is the park we went to earlier in the week minus the herd of first graders.  Last we went and had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.  Ah...too bad it's back to work tomorrow.  The weekend feels short since D was only with us one of the days.  Luckily, summer is just around the corner.

I almost forgot...we had king crab for supper!  Yum!
